F2 Logistics took home the bronze medal in the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix, upending surging RC Cola Army in a five-set thriller, 25-13, 25-20, 20-25, 20,25, 18-16, Thursday at San Juan Arena.

A wayward shot from Kierra Holst ultimately gave the Cargo Movers the third place honors after F2 Logistics squandered a two-set advantage in the match.

Cargo Movers head coach Ramil De Jesus said his team banked on their early 2-0 advantage in the fifth set to regain composure in the final period.

“Nakauna kami first two points so yun lang pinanghawakan namin, maintain na lang ganung lamang (We got the first two points so that’s what we held on to, we just had to maintain that),” said De Jesus.

F2 Logistics’ largest lead in the fifth set was 11-8 after Tina Salak’s error.

“I just encouraged them in the receiving and blocking areas.”

Hayley Spelman led the Cargo Movers with 26 points while Aby Maraño and Ara Galang combined for the same number.

Kierra Holst took charge for the Lady Troopers with 21 points while Jovelyn Gonzaga and Royse Tubino had 19 and 14 points, respectively.
